About the Bertis company...
Bertis was founded as a family business in the early 90s, and we have since consolidated our position as a group of companies operating mainly in the meat industry, in food marketing and in catering. Today we have a reliable team of over 500 employees. We built a new, modern headquarters, a meat processing factory (2006 – 2010), a bakery and pastry shop (2012), as well as cold stores, all equipped and organized to meet European standards. Compared with a meat production capacity of one tonne per day in 2004 – 2005, we now produce 30 tonnes per day.
Over the years, we have opened 9 modern food stores in Covasna County. Located close to residential areas and permanently supplied with a wide range of products, our stores represent a favorite place of locals for their daily shopping.
We also operate 5 restaurants and a ballroom in Saint George, which enjoy great popularity among our customers.
In 2015, we opened an industrial kitchen. This investment has facilitated the provision and development of catering and home delivery services (Big Mama Delivery).
Another important area of activity we are involved in is the wholesale trade. We distribute our products with our own refrigerator cars to over 1500 companies and organizations.
By making new investments on a regular basis, we seek to strengthen our company as a group characterized by stability, financial balance and dynamic development.
